The minis are the smallest offshore sailing class in the world. With a length of only 6.5m these boats are tiny to cross an ocean, but  their small size brings down the costs to a reachable level for ambituous  up and coming shorthanded offshore sailors.

The mini class is divided into two categories:

the production boats and the prototypes.

After having competed in the minitransat 2013 in a series boat my project for 2015 is to compete in the proto class for the next minitransat.

  1. Simon, Hi mate, definitely worth a look at the new rig from the AWS guys, they are laying up their 8m hull tomorrow in my factory and the results we are hearing from the two boat tuning in Valencia, wow, take time to find out more. Looking good there mate, I was immediately interested in the new bow shapes when I saw them a few years ago – good direction to trick the boat into thinking its bigger than it is I think Ciao. Brett
